Professional Accomplishment

Benefits administration:

  • Perform pension calculations in Excel and draft participant communication statements in Word;
  • Create and maintain calculation spreadsheet and documentation;
  • Track manual calculation scenarios and test cases, and work with clients to validate them.

Quality control:

  • Automate pension calculations in Excel and Aon Hewitt proprietary platform for tens of thousands of participants;
  • Ensure accuracy of client requirement documents and data;
  • Identify testing breakpoints and ensure robustness and accuracy of test plans;
  • Execute thousands of test cases and analyze their results via individual and batch processes;
  • Manage multiple rounds of testing, identify resulting system defects, and monitor the resolution of defects.

Technical skills:

  • Write and execute SQL codes to aggregate and analyze participants data;
  • Write EXCEL formulas and VBA programs to enhance pension calculations and quality testing tools.

Education and research:

  • Prepare and present lecture material for a wide array of mathematics courses, ranging from introductory (calculus) to advanced (analysis);
  • Set and evaluate class performance benchmarks in terms of homework assignments, projects, and exams;
  • Conduct original independent research and publish papers in peer-reviewed journals;
