Eating and drinking in Chicago
Here are some places for food and drinks that I like.

- Metropolis Coffee, Granville and Kennmore.
- Dollop, Clarendon and W Gordon Terrace.
- Cafe Neo, Lincoln and Leland, one block east of Brown Line Western stop.
- Coronas Coffee (review), on Irving Park between Sheridan and Broadway.
- Intelligentsia, three stores: #1 Broadway and Barry, #2 Jackson and Dearborn, #3 Randolf and Wabash.
- Argo Tea, many stores throughout Chicagoland.
- Spa Cafe, on Monroe between Clark and LaSalle.
- Caffe Rom, #1 Prudential Plaza, #2 Franklin and Monroe.
North American Food:
- Heartland Cafe, Lunt and Glenwood.
- Uncommon Ground, Clark and Grace.
- Pick Me Up Cafe (review), Clark and Roscoe.
- The Bagel, Broadway and Barry.
- Angel Food Bakery, Montrose and Ashland.
Latin American Food:
- Mi Tierra (review), Mexican food, Belmont and Kenmore.
Asian Food:
- Rosded (review), Thai food. Leland between Western and Clark.
- Furama / 富麗華, Chinese food, with dimsum all day, Broadway and Argyle.
- La Patisserie P (review), bun shop. Argyle and Kennmore.
- KS Seafood / 海霸王 (review), Taiwanese food, China Plaza in Chinatown.
- Phoenix (reiview), Chinese food, with dimsum until 3pm. On Archer between Wentworth and Princeton.
- Saint’s Alp Teahouse / 仙跡岩, teashop with light meals, underneath Phoenix.
- Lau Sze Chuan / 老四川, Chinese Sichuanese food. In Chinatown square on the western end of the mall.
- Le Colonial, Vietnamese food. Rush and Walton.
European Food:
- Chicago Brauhaus, German food. On Lincoln between Leland and Lawrence.
- La Creperie, French food (crepes!). On Clark between Diversey and Surf.
- Cafe Baba Reeba, Spanish food (tapas), on Halsted just north of Armatage.
- Resi’s Bierstube (review), German beer pub with Biergarten. On Irving Park just west of Damen and Lincoln.
